I recently visited a local small animal part in Chittenango, New York (USA), The Wild Animal Park.
Some of the flowers even had “wild” things!
The giraffe area included a platform to get face-to-face!
I think the above bird is a grey-crowned crane.
Many of the residents at the park are behind wire enclosures, hard to photograph well. There were many kinds to see and learn about. The day was overcast, but warm, and eventually a sprinkle started, which turned into a heavy downpour. We left before we had seen all the animals. I’ll have more for you in another post soon!
