It’s that time in spring when flowers seem to be exploding, opening right before your eyes.  So much is happening in nature and even in the small space of your own yard, that you cannot take time to enjoy each one and end up with a blur of blossoms in your mind.

In an earlier post, I shared our first dandelions of the season, very late, too.  Just a few days later, this is our front yard!   The evening I took this photo, they were swaying in a strong breeze.

It was almost dark two days ago, when I found my red tulips blossoming!

  2. Some beautiful shots, Donna, esp the violets and red tulip! Explosion is right. I just got an email from a friend in CO. They had a blizzard this week. A couple feet of snow. We re the lucky ones to be sweating here. She s trying to plant her garden.
