Feeders are emptying fast, with so many hungry beaks to feed!

In the above photo, most of the birds are goldfinches, but the one flying in appears to be a house finch.

Chickadees “hit and run” most of the time, gathering a seed and flying off to a safe location to open and eat it, sometimes flying a long way off. I’ve read that they also hide seeds to feed on later.
